There is not a bad seat in the house, as raised bleacher seating offers spectators a great view of all the action. Configure our panels and chutes to your criteria, or bring in your own set up. Attached open barn with sheep/swine/goat pens and beef tie-racks provides excellent stall space for livestock of all kinds. The fairgrounds annually hosts the Loup Valley Livestock Challenge, Shrine Circus, regional and multi-state horse shows, Shrine Circus and much more. Jim Trotter Outdoor Arena
The perfect venue for horse shows and rodeo events is the outdoor arena on the Valley County Fairgrounds. Or, let your imagination run wild and use the arena for go-kart races, a demolition derby or sand volleyball tournament. The facility boasts ample parking for spectators and participants, bleacher seating, announcer’s stand, show management/concession area and an excellent sound system.

If convenience in a classroom setting is what you seek, consider our technology center. Well equipped and thoughtfully designed, the room comfortably accommodates up to 30 students. Features video conference capability, wireless connectivity, 28 laptop computers, satellite downlink, plasma screen, LCD projector and screen, and a podium presenters love to use. Plug in your laptop or bring a presentation on USB device and in just moments you are ready to begin. Additional amenities include Elmo projector, color printing, DVD/VCR player and sound system. Our on-site facility manager is available to assist you with special equipment needs, catering arrangements and local event promotion.
